At Hanakomichi, you can rent kimono (traditional Japanese wear), ninja costumes, or samurai armor and helmets. It is located on the way to Matsumoto Castle. A professional will dress you in your favorite kimono or ninja costume in about 15 minutes. Afterwards, you can take a 5 min walk to the castle to take photos.
