Our friends at Japan Guide just put out a video on Nagano’s premier resort town, Karuizawa
I’m glad they focused on the eclectic variety of shops on the old Kyu-Karu “Ginza” instead of the outlet mall. But I wish they would have touched more on the local specialty shops such as Karuizawa-bori wood carving. And it was nice they included an off-the-tourist-path temple but I don’t see how you cannot include the churches. Admittedly Karuizawa has way more to enjoy than can be squeezed into a 7-minute video. You’ll just have to come see yourself.
